On Saturday April 21, 2018 community residents joined Andy Dahl in putting the finishing touches on the new façade of the Greenmount Recreation Center located at 2304 Greenmount Avenue. This was the culmination of a number of years of grant writing and planning.

Neighborhood residents, working with the Department of Recreation and Parks and with other community stakeholders chose Andy as the artist and together they created a design that reflects the diversity of the neighborhood.

The work is entitled Birds of a Feather and depicts feathers representing various birds that are found in Maryland.
