PURPOSE
To ensure that those who live, work, and/or worship in the neighborhoods of Barclay and East Baltimore Midway have a voice in determining the neighborhood's success.
To implement community development and community building projects that improve the social, economic and physical conditions of the neighborhood.
To encourage resident leadership and participation in community activities.
To establish and maintain partnerships with community associations, businesses, government agencies, the private sector, and individuals that support GGCA's mission.

It's Spring Cleaning Time!
This Saturday, we invite all residents of the Greater Greenmount Community to take advantage of the community dumpster located on the corner of Robb Street & Darley Avenue from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Before you bring your items over, please read the guidelines below:
Allowed Items:
o Household trash o Plastics o Furniture o Paper o Glass o Cans o Cardboard
Prohibited Items:
o Paint o Solvents o Pesticides o Pool chemicals o Acids o Caustics o Gasoline
o Mercury o Thermometers/thermostats o Syringes o Fire extinguishers
o Propane tanks o Helium tanks o Batteries o Fluorescent light bulbs o No tires
o No metal o No yard waste (i.e. trees, tree parts, etc.) o No motorized or non-
motorized vehicles, automotive waste or parts (i.e. mopeds, bicycles, or motorcycles)
o Any other solid, liquid, or gaseous substance that is regulated as hazardous by
State or federal law.
o No construction debris to include the following: wood, flooring, cement, bricks,
sheetrock- wall materials, concrete, roofing, building materials or dirt.
o No white goods to include the following: refrigerators, freezers, ovens, washing
machines, and dryers.

Five Reasons You Should Join GGCA
To be represented. In order to effectively accomplish our goals and serve as a voice for the community, we need to have representation from across our community. Being a member allows you to vote in GGCA business.
To get answers. GGCA is here to help with everything from when trash days are to how to contact your elected officials to upcoming proposed developments in the area. As your community voice, we're in the know and look forward to sharing vital community information with you.
To make a difference. Good things don’t just happen. People make them happen. As a member of GGCA, you can learn about a variety of volunteer opportunities that enable you to share your time and talent with the neighborhood. Neighborhood Clean Up Days, Midway Care Packages, and Boone Street Commons are just a couple examples of recent projects GGCA has supported.
To feel good about being involved. Everyone plays a part in the community in which they live. GGCA can help you play a stronger part by providing information and updates on issues related to housing and business development, crime and safety; helping to support resident-initiated projects; and sharing information about community events and resources.
To network. GGCA is comprised of neighbors of all ages and walks of life. Get to know people in your community through events and meetings.
