MISSION STATEMENT
To promote a thriving community by implementing programs that improve the quality of life of all residents in order to reclaim and revitalize the Greater Greenmount community.
GGCA serves the neighborhoods of Barclay and East Baltimore / Midway. Our boundaries are:
To the North - 25th Street
To the South - North Avenue
To the East - Harford Road
To the West - Hargrove St.
Carlos Williams
November 24, 1959 - March 21, 2010
We morn the sudden loss of Carlos Williams, a friend, neighbor and Greater Greenmount Community Association board member. Additionally, Carlos was Executive Director of A Few Good Men, a transitional housing program for recovering addicts - a program he started ten years ago with one house in the neighborhood and which expanded to three houses.
We will miss his warmth, kindness, generosity, and willingness to share his life, his wisdom and his resources with those in need.
