Greater Greenmount Community Association (GGCA) had its first organizational meeting on January 15^th 2007, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday, and became incorporated the following year.  Membership in GGCA is made up of individuals who live, work, and/or worship in the neighborhoods of Barclay and East Baltimore/Midway.  We welcome you with open arms. Purpose

• To ensure that those who live, work, and/or worship in the neighborhoods of Barclay and East Baltimore/Midway have a voice in determining the neighborhood's success.
  
  
• To implement community development and community building projects that improve the social, economic and physical conditions of the neighborhood.

• To encourage resident leadership and participation in community activities.

• To establish new partnerships with community associations, businesses, government agencies, the private sector, and individuals that support GGCA's mission.
