Greater
Greenmount Community Association (GGCA) had its first organizational meeting on
January 15th
2007, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s
birthday, and became incorporated the following year. Membership in GGCA is made up of individuals
who live, work, and/or worship in the neighborhoods of Barclay and East
Baltimore/Midway. We welcome you with
open arms. Please inquire today about how you can become involved with us as we
bring about positive changes in our community.
Purpose
To ensure
that those who live, work, and/or worship in the neighborhoods of Barclay
and East Baltimore/Midway have a voice in determining the
neighborhood's success.
To implement
community development and community building projects that improve the
social, economic and physical conditions of the neighborhood.
To
encourage resident leadership and participation in community activities.
To establish
new partnerships with community associations, businesses, government
agencies, the private sector, and individuals that support GGCA's mission.
