About

The first organizational meeting of Greater Greenmount Community Association, Inc. (GGCA) was  on January 15th 2007, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday. It became incorporated in 2008 and received its IRS tax-exempt status the following year.  Membership in GGCA is made up of individuals who live, work, and/or worship in the neighborhoods of Barclay and East Baltimore/ Midway. GGCA has no paid staff so we rely on volunteers to help us as we work to bring about positive changes in our community.

General meetings are held monthly September through June from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM on the second Tuesday of the month at Cecil Elementary School, 2000 Cecil Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21218. Enter into the Auditorium in the 2100 block of Kirk Avenue near the intersection with Homewood Avenue. NOTE: In the event that Baltimore City Public Schools are closed for inclement weather, or for any other reason, the meeting will be cancelled.
