In the meeting, lead by Ms. Grace Willis, we talked about parking problems in various locations. After discussing a number of alternatives we decided as a first step to request a traffic study to determine if it is feasible to institute angle parking in the 200 – 400 blocks of E. 23 St. and 1900 – 2100 blocks of Boone St.
We submitted the application to Mr. Scott from the Traffic Division on March 15th and Mr. Scott responded that the study will be completed by May 15th. If the traffic study determines that angle parking is feasible the next step will be to survey residents of each block to find out if they support the change.
Other areas of concern will be addressed in the future.
